What readers have said about Halleswell Hall.
'I have finally finished reading Halleswell Hall. It took me a while to get into it as I have to admit that it's not really
my kind of genre, and I didn't think I'd like it at all. But I persevered and am glad I did as it just got better and better.
I really enjoyed the story and the characters. So, well done to you and Lisa on a fantastic first novel! And I hope you sell
lots of copies!' Mary
'To Lisa and David, I Thank You from the bottom of my heart for the effort and the Love you have put into your book, may
I wish you every success for any future venture you undertake. God Bless.'
Halleswell Hall is one of the best Historical Romantic Fiction works I have read for a long time. The Authors should be
proud of the way they have seamlessly managed to write between them, for I cannot tell where one Author or the other wrote.
I cried at parts of the book, and I held my breath for the last chapter....... If the Author's next works are half as good
as Halleswell Hall, it will be a hell of a great read..... Amanda Jane Wheatley.....
'I thought I would let you know I finished your book and thought it was great I really enjoyed the story, the one chapter
even made me cry - well written congratulations to you both' - lyn
'It is a bold enterprise to take on such a vast canvas for a first novel and, for all my criticisms, I applaud Lisa and
David for carrying it off with style. Above all, for two writers with noticeably different styles they have produced a seamless
collaboration and the progression that I find evident in the course of the book bodes well for future endeavours.
Worth
reading.' Lesley Mason
'Finished Halleswell Hall whilst on holiday - I was hooked! Thoroughly enjoyable read.'
'I enjoyed the way the book matured as it went along and thought the use of olde worlde English merging into modern times
was very effective, giving a sense of time to the whole. It's a great achievment to write a book completely by e-mail, but
to each share a character is even more astonishing. Well done.'
